Job Summary
Welder/Welding Technician on the Production Team performing GTAW and FCAW welding for HRSG component fabrication. Interpret drawings, WPS, and work instructions to determine welding positions and conditions; set welding parameters and perform welding; conduct visual self-inspections and basic quality checks; identify weld defects and perform repairs as needed. Collaborate with fitting, assembly, and quality teams to meet production schedules while complying with safety and EHS standards. Requires strong technical skills, high responsibility, and adherence to quality procedures. Preferred: 5+ years welding experience, relevant welding certifications, and experience with HRSG, boiler, pressure parts, or power-generation fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or higher
- At least 3 years of relevant welding experience
- Practical experience with GTAW and FCAW
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions
- Understanding of welding parameters, quality requirements, and shop safety standards
