Job Summary
Welder-Fitter sought to perform welding and fitting on shipbuilding and ship repair projects. Responsibilities include reading plans to interpret welding procedures, cutting material, fitting components, performing FCAW and GMAW welding, supporting Health, Safety and Environment activities, and contributing to project workloads. Ideal candidate has a vocational welding-fitting diploma or relevant experience, a CWB certification or eligibility, ability to work in confined spaces/heights/outdoors, reading plans, a valid driver’s license, willingness to travel to different sites, and availability for day/night shifts and on-call periods. The role is permanently 40 hours weekly in Quebec with a wage range of $31.50–$37.50/hour plus benefits. Offers include group insurance, pension, and other employee programs. Required Qualifications

- CWB cards or meets Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) requirements
