Job Summary
Welder/Fitter performing welding, fabrication, and fitting of ASME code pressure vessels. Responsible for safely preparing alloys for fabrication, following weld procedures and QC plans, reading blueprints/drawings, setting up welding machines and plasma cutting parameters, and performing basic NDE (LPT and VT) as needed. Must weld with multiple processes (SAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW) across multiple positions, ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence, and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Requires 5+ years welding/fitting experience and formal training in Welding Technology or 3+ years of practical welding/fabrication experience; ability to lift at least 50 lbs and pass a physical assessment; shifts include day and night options in Honey Brook, PA, US.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years welding/fitting experience welding ASME Code pressure vessels
- Formal training in Welding Technology or 3+ years of practical welding & fabrication experience
- Must be able to complete and pass a physical assessment
- Read and interpret blueprints ASME code and AWS weld symbology
- Knowledge of welding principals and methods including SAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW
