Job Summary
Welding and fabrication to assemble hollow metal frames and components; set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW); lay out, position, align, and secure parts; inspect finished products for quality; follow safety policies and report equipment or material defects; assist with loading/unloading, on-site service work, and local deliveries; participate in shop meetings and support production during peak periods; requires ability to read drawings, basic math, and lifting up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license may be required; overtime may be needed; indoor climate-controlled shop environment; 7:30AM-4:15PM, Monday–Friday; wage range $20-$25/hour DOE; background check and drug screening required; DOT compliance applies; employer match 401k and benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with prior welding experience
- Knowledge of welding equipment and safe operating practices
- Ability to read drawings, follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must speak English fluently
