Job Summary
Welder/Fabricator responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. Read and interpret blueprints; cut, shape, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and welding equipment. Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses; weld and fit structural steel to project requirements; inspect finished products for quality and accuracy; maintain a safe and organized work environment in a shop setting. Requires experience in structural steel fabrication, proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding (TIG and Stick a plus), ability to read blueprints, familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery, strong attention to detail, and the physical capability to lift heavy materials. Required Qualifications
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field
- Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding; TIG, and Stick welding is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment
