Job Summary
Welder/Fabricator/Machine Assembler needed to perform welding and fabrication tasks including piping, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly for Surface Combustion manufacturing. Role includes reading electrical, piping, and mechanical prints (isometric and layouts), using hand and power tools, operating overhead cranes and forklifts, training less experienced team members, and performing field installations as part of a team or as a team leader. Requires standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and ability to read and interpret drawings; proficiency in process and tack welding; basic electrical skills for conduit layout and wire termination; layout and align motors, pumps, and other components. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Some level of continuing education recommended
- Strong mechanical ability
- Ability to plan and carry out tasks independently
- May direct the work of others to fabricate and assemble products from drawings and verbal directions
