Job Summary
Fabricate complete assemblies for erecting small to large buildings, perform finish grinding of rails for aesthetic and safety purposes, and collaborate with other fabricators to solve complex fabrication tasks. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints while adhering to strict safety protocols and NOMA designations. Complete on-time fabrication of assemblies with zero errors and assist team members in resolving intricate project challenges. This full-time, in-person role at a family-owned specialty fabricating company prioritizes craftsmanship, integrity, and safety in delivering reliable steel solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
- Strong understanding of different welding procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a fabrication environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and efficiency
- Ability to adapt when jobs require
- Experience with finish grinding of welded materials - specifically finish grinding of rails in relation to NOMA designations
