Job Summary
As a Welder/Fabricator at SA Recycling, you will perform a full range of complex skilled welding and fabrication duties for a metal recycling shredder and other industrial equipment. Requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform layout and fit-up of structural components, and use various welding and fabricating equipment safely. The role demands strong advanced knowledge of welding techniques, and familiarity with health and safety regulations. The position entails working outdoors, ensuring a safe and clean working environment, assisting team members, and adhering strictly to safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; graduation from a trade school preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience in welding processes such as MIG, stick, and torch welding on a variety of materials.
- Advanced knowledge of welding fabrication tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local job site health and safety rules, regulations and best practices; understanding of potential job hazards.
- Ability to safely work at varying heights, in tight quarters, and varying positions.
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

- An offer of employment by SA Recycling is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a post-offer drug screen, physical exam, and background check with a credit check (if position specified).
