Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components per blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, cut, shape, and assemble using saws, torches, and welding equipment; operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses; weld and fit according to project requirements; inspect finished products for quality and accuracy; maintain a safe, organized shop environment and follow safety protocols. Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding (TIG/STICK a plus) and familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery are required. Position offers 1st/2nd/3rd shifts with hourly pay of $20-$30 and benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401k, PTO/holiday pay, disability and life insurance, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field
- Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding; TIG, and Stick welding is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment
