Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components according to blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, perform cutting and fitting using saws, torches, and welding equipment, and operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses. Maintain a safe, organized shop and ensure finished products meet project requirements and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field
- Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding; TIG, and Stick welding is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently
- Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
