Job Summary
Perform welding and fabrication tasks including MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding, weld prep, and plasma cutting to fabricate intricate assemblies. Responsibilities include cutting, bending, drilling, tapping as required, operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks, reading engineering fabrication drawings, following written procedures and work instructions, maintaining an average weld efficiency of 70% or better, and adhering to PPE and safety policies. Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years welding experience
- Knowledge of Spray GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), weld prep and plasma cutting
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment weld test
- Must read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings
