Job Summary
Weld and fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metals per shop drawings for a growing fabrication and installation company. Responsibilities include welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions using MIG, Stick, and TIG processes, reading and fabricating from shop drawings/blueprints, operating related equipment (saws, plasma tables, ironworker, hand tools, power tools), and traveling locally up to 2 hours from York, PA (roughly 75% travel with occasional overnight trips). Must pass MIG/Stick weld tests, hold a valid driver''s license, and complete a drug screen and background check. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the miscellaneous metals field (preferred)
- Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding
- Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Ability to read and fabricate from shop drawings and/or blueprints
- Ability to weld test (MIG and Stick) and fabrication test
- Valid driver''s license
- Willingness to travel locally within 2 hours of the shop in York, PA; 75% travel with some overnight travel if needed
- Successful drug screening and background check
