Job Summary
Welder/Fabricator performs Spray GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding, weld prep, and plasma cutting to fabricate intricate assemblies. Reads engineering fabrication drawings and layout, bends/drills/taps, operates bridge cranes and forklift trucks, and follows written procedures. Maintains an average weld efficiency rating of 70% or better, uses PPE, adheres to safety policies, and performs other duties as assigned. Requires HS Diploma or GED and 2+ years of welding experience; MIG/TIG knowledge; pre-employment weld test; welding certification preferred. Shifts available: 1st and 2nd. Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of welding work experience
- Knowledge and experience in primarily Spray GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), weld prep and plasma cutting.
- Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks preferred
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment weld test
- Welding Certification from a recognized institution (preferred)
