Job Summary
Lays out, fits, and welds steel fabricated components for all FMH Conveyors product lines using MIG and TIG methods. Calculates locations for stop pins, dowel pins, and drill bushings while selecting appropriate work holding jigs and fixtures. Operates cutting torches and handheld plasma cutters, and performs minor maintenance on shears, brake presses, and mechanical power presses. Works in a loud environment with exposure to fumes and extreme heat, requiring frequent standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of fabrication operation procedures
- basic mechanics of fabrication machinery and equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted
- Close vision

- Ability to adjust focus
