Job Summary
Clamp, tack-weld, and grind aluminum components to build high-performance boats for the military and first responders. Fuse metal segments using gas metal arc and plasma arc processes in flat, vertical, or overhead positions while monitoring for warping or distortion. Chip excess weld, remove rough spots, and operate hoists, cranes, and production fixtures to secure work pieces. Maintain a safe work environment, coordinate assigned areas, and report major issues to the supervisor. Perform basic problem-solving and communicate effectively under supervision.

- Some Aluminum experience required
- Requires a basic understanding of the usage of production machinery, common hand tools, handheld power tools and fabricating equipment
- Able to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols with minimal direction
- Must be able to pass a skill test relevant to the position
- Position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Use of manufacturing equipment
- Work in areas at times that are not environmentally controlled
- Able to move 40 lbs
- Ability to get underway with high-speed watercraft in variable weather conditions

- US citizen or lawful resident of the United States
