Job Summary
MIG weld steel framing components and fabricated assemblies, read blueprints and shop drawings, and fabricate light gauge steel systems for commercial construction projects. Operate saws, presses, grinders, and hand tools while inspecting welds and finished products for quality and accuracy. Assist with general production, material handling, packaging, and maintaining a clean work area. This full-time day shift role offers consistent hours, overtime availability, and a stable indoor environment with no outdoor job sites. Required Qualifications
- Proven MIG welding experience (must be able to pass weld test)
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Ability to demonstrate quality MIG welds upon hire
- Strong measuring and layout skills
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
