Job Summary
Senior Welder responsible for high-precision fabrication and complex repairs of turbomachinery components (turbines, compressors, pumps, gear boxes) in KEZAD Free Zone Abu Dhabi; perform TIG/MIG/submerged arc/heliarc welding, diaphragm repairs on Inconel and stainless steel, inspect with NDT, read engineering drawings, plan and oversee work with minimal supervision, and help train hourly staff while upholding safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 8–10 years of experience with rotating turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, and pumps)
- Advanced TIG and MIG welding capabilities
- Advanced rigging and lifting capabilities
- Advanced measurement and layout capabilities
- Strong background in welding/fabrication concepts, practices, and procedures
