Job Summary
Constructs and welds subassemblies from detailed layout drawings; welds a variety of machines daily; may work at different workstations during the welding process; operates a forklift as needed; supports other departments when asked; maintains inventory levels on welded parts and meets deadlines. Proficiency in Mig, Tig, and Stick welding; ability to read parts prints; occasional lifting up to 80 lbs; endure standing 8 hours; ability to follow directions; strong attendance and punctuality; exposure to fumes, sparks, and moving mechanical parts; PPE including welding helmet, leather gloves, steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs. Full-time role with standard hours Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:00 pm in Frederick, MD.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma and prior relevant work experience or vocational training. Must demonstrate proficiency in Mig, Tig and Stick methods of welding.
