Job Summary
Read project plans, blueprints, and diagrams to guide welding tasks on stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum. Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding while using plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools. Ensure work meets quality standards and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining the work area. Clean equipment and complete other duties as assigned. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods. Candidates must pass a welding test and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good physical condition and endurance
- Must pass a welding test
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred
