Job Summary
Fabricate stainless-steel weldments using provided engineering drawings and written/verbal specifications. Interpret blueprints, read measurements to plan layouts, weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, and use specialized welding equipment. Assess weld quality and surfaces, ensure tolerance compliance, monitor machinery usage and temperature, and follow strict safety regulations. Performs related duties as assigned and may include incidental tasks. High school diploma or equivalent required; a welding certificate is preferred; minimum 2 years of stainless steel TIG welding experience; strong blueprint-reading and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years Stainless Steel tig-welding experience
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs
- Outstanding attention to detail
