Job Summary
Welder B position requires completing company-approved work samples and operating manual welding units for aluminum, steel, stainless, and galvanized materials. Responsibilities include maintaining proper welding techniques, repairing improperly welded pieces, assembling and clamping work pieces, and maintaining a clean work area while following safety regulations. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to work independently, and demonstrate shop math skills, along with the ability to interpret technical documents.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work independently
- Demonstrates shop math skills
- Can interpret blueprints, specifications, production layouts, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months or more prior MIG welding experience preferred
- Certification preferred, not required
- Previous work-related experience and/or any vocational training preferred
