Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements, fabricate parts, and troubleshoot issues while maintaining accurate logs of procedures and inspections. Work with team members to ensure high production standards and safety compliance. Valid certification and previous manufacturing experience are required. Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. $32-38/hr DOE.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all work performed
- Proficiency in different welding techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Ability to determine welding requirements
- Ability to fabricate metal parts
- Ability to work with other team members
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot welding issues
- Ability to maintain accurate logs of welding procedures and inspections
- Ability to perform MIG, TIG and/or other welding processes on various materials such as steel, aluminum and stainless steel
