Job Summary
Fabricate and repair wind tower sections using semi-automatic and mechanized welding equipment based on drawings or work orders. Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and perform routine preventative maintenance of equipment. Maintain attendance within acceptable standards while adhering to all safety practices, including wearing required personal protective equipment. This role may require coverage beyond normal hours, shifts, and weekends/holidays. Weld Process Certification Training is provided for eligible candidates with one year of experience in GMAW, FCAW, SAW, or SMAW.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Year Welding in GMAW, FCAW, SAW, or SMAW
- Read Tape Measure
- General tool usage including hand tools, torches, and grinders
- Read, write, and speak proficiently in English
- Follow directions
- Effective interpersonal communicator, good listener and open to feedback
