Job Summary
Under general supervision, perform preventive maintenance, inspect, diagnose, and repair compactors and containers. Execute repairs on electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems while utilizing computer electronics to interpret failure modes. Estimate time and material costs, requisition parts, and complete service calls for emergency breakdowns. Conduct safety checks, maintain a clean work area complying with OSHA standards, and document parts usage and repair times. Perform all work within Standard Repair Times and assist senior technicians on project work. Requires two years of experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to work in field conditions including inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Valid Driver's License Upon Hire
