Job Summary
Conduct MIG, TIG, and other welding operations on components per customer blueprint specifications. Set up and de-bur parts to achieve precise surface textures while maintaining a clean 5S work environment. Perform preventive maintenance, load/unload trucks efficiently, and inspect welded structures using measurement equipment. Communicate Alexandria Industries requirements with vendors and ensure all safety and quality practices are followed. Work in a climate-controlled facility with a four-day work week, earning $21.00-$34.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent degree
- 3-5 years of Aluminum TIG and MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to obtain welding certifications as needed
- Ability to recognize safety concerns
- Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
- Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
- Ability to properly identify materials
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties
