Job Summary
Perform Aluminum MIG Arc Welding (AMAW) on fixtures, parts, and ramps, with occasional TIG welding. Read blueprints and job orders throughout the day to verify specifications before starting operations. Flip trailers to weld the opposite side, conserve resources, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Recognize defective parts, faulty workmanship, and quality issues, then double-check finished products against job orders. Operate and maintain equipment while notifying management of repair needs. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Aluminum welding experience
- Must pass an aluminum weld test
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to follow directives and procedures
- Must be able to complete paperwork
- Good verbal and written communication skills
