Welder

Welder role in AGI’s manufacturing team focused on welding and joining metal components using hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand soldering, or brazing to fabricate or repair parts (galvanized, stainless, steel) per layouts, engineering drawings, or work orders. Responsibilities include welding to specified tolerances, cleaning and finishing welds, inspecting weld quality, reading engineering drawings and blueprints, completing mechanical installation of bolted assemblies, maintaining tools and equipment, complying with Health and Safety policies, and performing other department tasks. Required qualifications include 1-2 years of welding experience, ability to read welding symbols and blueprints, and capability to lift up to 50 pounds, with additional asset in manufacturing experience and willingness to pursue CWB certification. The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic problem solving, and effective communication, in a fast-paced environment; safety and teamwork are core values. Location is Nobleford, AB and Lethbridge, AB, Canada with on-site work arrangements.
