Welder - 8a-4:30p Shift

Under general supervision, apply appropriate welds to fabricate or repair compactors, containers, and carts. Perform minor repairs using basic welding processes including arc, gas, aluminum welding, brazing, and soft soldering. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic checks, and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems. Perform service calls, flame cutting, bending, forming, and beveling of metal and plastic parts. Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times, and assist senior welders on project work. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards. Work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
