Job Summary
Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes. Use fixtures to position components and control distortion while performing grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed. Complete required job paperwork, maintain a clean and safe work area, and perform self-inspections adhering to quality standards. Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers. Work the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with opportunities for voluntary overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience
- Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills
- Experience with at least one welding process
- Ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Always-available, completely voluntary overtime before or after your shift
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent education
- One (1) year or more of welding or metal fabrication experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
