Job Summary
Welder on 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am Sun-Thurs) at Havis in Warminster, PA. Welds various metals (stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel) using MIG and TIG processes and fabricates custom parts per work orders and engineering drawings. Operates and sets up a range of fabrication equipment, assists with other fabrication tasks as needed, inspects parts for defects, maintains a clean and safe work area, and supports special projects as assigned by supervision. Must be able to read quality documents and drawings, handle raw materials, and lift 50–100 lbs; prior experience with welding machines such as Millermatic 250 MIG Welder and Syncrowave 350 LX TIG Welder is referenced in the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- •High School Diploma or GED
- •Must supply own basic hand tools
- •Must be able to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- •Able to MIG and TIG weld up to ¼” steel and aluminum.
- •Ability to Read and Interpret Quality Documents and Drawings
- •Able to perform basic mathematical computations
- •Must regularly be able to lift and move from 50 to 100 lbs
- •Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
