Job Summary
Welder 3 Team Lead - Nights in Fargo, ND leads the night shift welding/production team, assisting the Shop Supervisor in coordinating activities of production employees in their area. Responsible for safety, quality, and achieving production targets, driving employee engagement through one-on-one discussions, and administering yearly goal check-ins and performance reviews. Applies root cause analysis and participates in closing corrective actions and non-conformances, manages time and labor reporting, approves PTO and bi-weekly time sheets, and ensures proper use of equipment, PPE, and safe working conditions on the shop floor. Demonstrates accountability, leadership, adaptability, initiative, and organizational skills to maintain an efficient, safe, and high-quality production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience in a related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills to positively impact those they are leading.
- Training and experience in personnel management.
- Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of complex tasks.
- Good understanding of company policies and procedures.
