Job Summary
Associate II Welder on 2nd Shift at Systems, LLC (an affiliate of Chamberlain Group) welding and assembling metal components using hand held welding equipment, including MIG and robotic welding systems, and inspecting welds to meet specifications. Responsibilities include preparing materials, operating cranes/hoists/lift tables, reading measurements with rulers, squares, templates, and gauges, testing and inspecting welds, and maintaining safety; preferred qualifications include robotic welding certification and experience with solid core wires and argon/oxygen welding gases. The role emphasizes safety compliance, documentation, and collaboration with supervisors/engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of robotic welding experience
- Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines and cutting torches using cutting steel, acetylene and other cutting methods
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals
