Job Summary
Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes. Use fixtures to position components, perform grinding and deburring, and complete required job paperwork. Maintain a clean work area, conduct self-inspections, and support preventative maintenance. Requires previous metal fabrication or welding experience, basic blueprint reading, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with voluntary overtime available. Starting pay is $26.75/hour plus shift and skill premiums, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), and pension after 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Previous metal fabrication and/or welding experience
- Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills
- Experience with at least one welding process
- Ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent education
- One (1) year or more of welding or metal fabrication experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
