Job Summary
Weld parts per plant specifications using weld machine centers; read work orders and blueprints; join metals with appropriate materials; perform rework on flagged parts; verify finished work against blueprint tolerances; align components with calipers and rulers and clamp as needed; perform routine checks and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and understand work orders and blueprints
- Ability to measure and verify tolerances with calipers and rulers
- Effective written and oral communication
- Ability to solve problems and adapt to organizational needs
