Job Summary
Operate welding equipment to fuse aluminum, steel, and galvanneal components while interpreting blueprints for pinpoint precision. Prepare materials using heavy equipment like saws and manage machine setup with preventative maintenance to keep production running smoothly. Inspect every weld for defects and apply multiple welding techniques to ensure top-tier quality standards. Adhere strictly to safety policies and perform rigorous safety checks to protect yourself and your team. This role requires passing a weld test, proficiency in mild steel and galvanneal materials, and at least six months of welding experience or completion of welding school training. You will work extended hours standing on a fast-paced manufacturing floor, lifting up to 35 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks in a team-driven environment. Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a weld test to demonstrate skill and quality
- Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials
- Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school training
- Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills essential for precision
- Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks
- Able to accurately understand and apply measurements on the job
- Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for specialized welding applications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be available for 2nd shift
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to operate tools and equipment with precision
- Must be able to talk and listen as part of a safety-focused, team-driven environment
- Must be able to bend
