Welder - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Welder duties include setting up welding equipment per procedures, fabricating welding jigs, welding parts (manual and robotic) to specifications, and performing first-piece inspections with QC approval. Maintain production records in ERP, follow Shop Traveler and blueprints, and communicate problems to QC and shift leadership. Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5S and PPE requirements, perform preventive maintenance, and adhere to EIMCo quality and safety policies. Requires mechanical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and 1–2 years welding experience (formal education or training may substitute). Required Qualifications
- Mechanical skills background
- One to two years welding experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
- Formal education or experience may be substituted with training
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects
- Welding parts manually or robotically to specifications
- Set-up welding equipment per procedures
- Fabricate welding jigs when necessary
- Create and follow inspection checklists and perform first-piece inspections
- Maintain accurate daily records in ERP and Shop Travelers
- Follow all EIMCo documentation and safety policies
- Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with 5S
- Conform to PPE and safety requirements
- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift up to 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to work second shift (2nd shift)
