Job Summary
Perform welding assignments per blueprint and routing procedures, including butt welds, saddle welds, and repairing porosity in castings, using orbital TIG and laser welding equipment. Produce welds that meet specifications and are polishable as required; perform silver soldering when needed. Set up welding machines to correct settings, select tooling/fixturing, ensure proper gas backing, inspect welds for fusion and common defects, and make repairs as necessary. Read basic manufacturing blueprints, use lifting equipment, work with a team, maintain safety and cleanliness, and be willing to work overtime. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and two years of related welding experience or technical school graduate in welding; emphasizes quality, continuous learning, and adherence to company values.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of related welding experience OR technical school graduate specializing in welding curriculum.
