Apply multiple welding techniques and earn certifications, while adhering to rigorous safety policies and compliance checks. This hands-on role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. Required Qualifications
- Must successfully pass a weld test to demonstrate skill and quality
- Proficient in welding mild steel and galvanneal materials
- Minimum of 6 months welding experience or completion of welding school training
- Solid grasp of basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills essential for precision
- Basic experience with hand tools to support welding tasks
- Able to accurately understand and apply measurements on the job
- Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints for specialized welding applications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to perform physical movements like bending, squatting, reaching overhead, and occasionally crawling in tight spaces
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to operate tools and equipment with precision
- Must be able to talk and listen as part of a safety-focused, team-driven environment
