Job Summary
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and diagrams to guide welding tasks on stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum. Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding while using plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools. Ensure work meets quality standards, follows safety procedures, and maintains the work area. Clean and maintain equipment daily. This role requires working outdoors in extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, and cold, with exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris. Candidates must pass a welding test and possess strong physical endurance to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good physical condition and endurance
- Must pass a welding test
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs
- The ability to stand for long periods of time
- The ability to work in various weather conditions
- Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits
