Job Summary
Welder 1 in St. Louis, MO performing manual welding operations with MIG, TIG, and Plasma welders to join parts, vessels, and enclosures to manufacturing standards. Responsibilities include preparing materials, setting up and operating cutting/forming equipment, performing welding operations (spot, PAW, MIG, TIG), using CNC plasma cutters, testing welded products for reliability, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adhering to facility-specific standard work. Requires basic math, ability to read measurements, and capacity to work both independently and in teams with physical endurance for prolonged standing or sitting and lifting up to 30 pounds. Preferred candidates have two-year degree or technical certificate or related experience (1-3 years) and willingness to work overtime.
