Job Summary
Fabricate steel products by performing simple flat and horizontal welds, fitting subassemblies with tack or spot welds, and reading blueprints. Follow detailed instructions while working closely under supervision to ensure measurements meet specified tolerances and safety standards. Solve basic manufacturing issues requiring minimal judgment and maintain equipment through proper set-up and maintenance. This entry-level position offers a Monday through Thursday day shift with overtime as needed, located in Mandan, ND.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 year(s) of welding experience preferred
- Prompt and dependable attendance
- Be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace

- Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
- Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
- Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
- General knowledge of equipment and operations
- Basic understanding of Weld symbols
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
- Perform measurements within specified tolerances
- Work safely and accurately
- Work well with others
