Job Summary
Fabricate metal structures and components using MIG and TIG welding techniques across flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements, ensuring accurate measurements and tolerances. Adjust equipment settings and cut, shape, and assemble parts while inspecting welds for quality and conformance to specifications. Identify and correct defects, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain a clean work area. Requires 0-3 years of experience, blueprint reading skills, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and troubleshoot welding problems.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead
