Job Summary
Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble materials using TIG welding processes, adjusting parameters as needed. Interpret drawings and blueprints to execute production, then complete paperwork and computer entries for work orders. Perform precision measurements with micrometers, calipers, and CMMs while collaborating on lean manufacturing goals. Set up parts using work instructions, fixtures, and method documents, and log time and part data via computer programs. Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency. Work 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F) with flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited welding program OR 1 year of industrial TIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform shop math
- Ability to use precision measurement equipment
- Proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test on Stainless and Nickel
- Willingness to work 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F)
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
- Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
