Job Summary
Manage daily activities to ensure continuous efficiency and process improvements. Perform fabrication work including grinding, chipping, and finishing while operating machinery and tools safely. Maintain daily inspection logs and piece counts, comply with all safety requirements and PPE, and clean the work area daily. Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment checks. Flip I-beams and safely lift up to 100 lbs occasionally. Obtain welding certification within 90 days and become certified for forklift and overhead crane operation. Full-time role (30+ hours/week) with base pay of $19.00 per hour at our Ballinger, TX manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Welder I – one (1) to three (3) years welding experience.
- Ability to obtain Welding certificate within initial ninety (90) days of employment is required.
- Must be able to become certified to operate forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
- Must be able to safely flip I-beam.
- Ability to safely lift & carry 100lbs on an occasional basis.
