Job Summary
Weld Supervisor coordinates the welding team on projects, monitors progress, ensures safety, and inspects finished products for proper and safe construction. Leads and coaches the team, trains on job functions, blueprint readings, and use of welders, manages schedules, and reports on productivity, quality, and safety. Requires MIG and manual welding experience, ability to read blueprints, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with basic computer software to complete reports/logs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years supervisory experience
- Experience with MIG welding
- Experience with manual welding equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good computers skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficient in conflict resolution
- Ability to follow direction and create a plan
