Job Summary
Weld Student Training Program offering a PAID welding school course to become a welder for a defense/aerospace contractor. 12-week course (MON-FRI 6:00am–2:30pm) beginning at W International in Goose Creek, SC, then transitioning to Trident Technical College for 8 weeks before returning to W International to complete certifications. Starting pay during the course is $14.00/hour; after successful completion, move into a full-time production role at $21.00/hour with a full benefits package. Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship, 18+, and a high school diploma or GED. Location: Goose Creek, SC. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with match, PTO, and career development.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Able to lift 50 lbs and bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, walk and stand for extended periods of time
