Job Summary
Oversee a team of 10 to 15 welders in an industrial manufacturing environment, managing fabrication and sheet metal operations. Ensure all welding of aluminum and steel adheres to AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1 while utilizing MIG and TIG techniques and advanced fitting methods. Interpret blueprints and operate ERP/MRP systems to maintain compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards. Requires 7 to 10 years of experience in metal fabrication and strong computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Oversee a team of 10 to 15 welders
- 7 to 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in metal fabrication, including proficient use of MIG and TIG welding and advanced fitting techniques
- Experience welding aluminum and steel in accordance with AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1
- Strong computer skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- 3-5 years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and adherence to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
