Job Summary
Weld Operator responsible for placing parts on weld fixtures, loading/unloading fixtures, performing QC checks, and visually inspecting parts as they come off the weld machine; works in a team environment and follows Quality Inspection Reports. Requires hand/eye coordination, ability to comprehend instructions, and on-the-job training for assigned assets; safety gear and physical dexterity are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- On the job training
- Complete orientation instructions
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be able to work overtime as needed (10-12 hour shifts)
- Must be able to stand 10–12-hour shifts
- Must have physical dexterity
- Must be able to load and unload weld fixtures
- Must be able to adhere to Quality Inspection Reports
- Must be able to perform visual inspections of parts
