Job Summary
Kelvion seeks a Weld Engineer to develop welding procedures, coordinate qualifications, and communicate with customers. Requires relevant education and knowledge of industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of post-high school education specifically related to welding
- Working knowledge of ASME BPVC Section VIII, Division 1, and section IX
- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1
- Knowledge in strength of materials
- Basic understanding of welding metallurgy and heat treatment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Familiar with AutoCAD
Desired Qualifications
- AWS: CWI, CWEng, SCWI
- CWB: Certified welding supervisor, Certified welding engineer
- API: 510, 570, 653
