Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and program resistance and MIG welding equipment, including ABB robotic systems with defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, and servomotors. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic assemblies using electronic voltmeters and measuring tools, while installing, programming, or repairing programmable controllers and end-of-arm tools. Align components with hand or power tools and maintain service records for automated production systems. Detect faulty operations and defective material, reporting unusual situations to supervision. Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians and communicate across shifts to ensure project progress, all while complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean work areas. Requires 3 years of experience in spot welding, resistance welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and ABB robots.
Required Qualifications
- Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:10pm- 10:30pm with overtime based on business needs.
- English (grammar and language) and math.
- Familiarity of machines and tools.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Visual acuity is required for reading machine dials, work orders, precision measuring instruments and for performing visual/physical quality inspections.
- Ability to make arithmetical computations (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
- Ability to use Calipers, electronic voltmeters and measuring tools.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Overtime may be necessary as work loads dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
